The new Cosy Living range includes items that cost as little as 1p to run

ALDI shoppers are gearing up for the return of one of of its sell-out winter products.

The handy household item has 18 heated bars and is lightweight and foldable meaning it doesn’t take up much space when not in use.

The item was last in stock in November and sold out within a week.

Shoppers who have previously bought the items say they “love it”.

Commenting on Facebook, one person said: “Love mine, drys my laundry overnight…plus warms up the room…. win-win! For a few pence a day!”

Another person added: “I love mine wouldn’t be without it now. No longer have a tumble dryer and don’t intend on getting another anytime soon plus heats the conservatory too.”

The retailer has a few other must-have winter products returning to the shelves with some costing as little as just 1p to run.

Aldi is predicting that it will be a sell-out on some of the key lines in the Cosy Living range, such as its multi-purpose insulation wrap and oil-filled radiators.

Shoppers must be quick if they want to get their hands on any of the products, as with all Specialbuys once they are gone, they are gone.

As well as the winged airer the range will also include the heated upright airer retailing at £79.99.

The upright airer has 36 heated bars and according to the product specification costs less than 9p an hour to run.

Customers can also pick up the midi dehumidifier for £89.99.

Dehumidifiers are great for extracting moisture from inside the home to ensure an optimum temperature for drying clothes.

This item could also be paired with a heated airer for the ultimate drying hack.

The range also includes a selection of electric blankets from Silent Night, with prices starting from £16.99.

This is a great way to keep warm at night and can also help to keep costs down as they cost just 1p to run.

If you are looking for an even cheaper alternative, opt for the self-heating mattress topper in the range.

The mattress topper comes in two sizes (double ££19.99 and king £21.99) and it keeps the bed warm without using electricity through unique heat-reflecting coils and a thermal lining.

Other items in the range include a radiator reflector (£12.99), an oil-filled radiator (£29.99), and an electric fan heater (24.99).

The Cozy Living Range is available in stores from January 14, however, some products including the heated airers and dehumidifier will not be available until January 16.

There are things you can do if you are looking to cut down on your energy costs over the winter months.

Just making some small changes to your daily routine can help bring down bill costs.

Always make sure when you put the heating on that your curtains are closed and all the windows in your house are shut.

This might seem like an obvious thing to do but many people leave their bathroom window slightly open and forget to close it.

Even if it is only slightly ajar this means that precious heat is escaping right out of the window rather than staying in your home.

You can also buy draught excluders which can be cheap – we spotted them on Amazon for £7.99 – but you should always shop around for better offers.

And always think about how much money you’re spending on household appliances – the kettle is ranked one of the costliest, after the shower, heating and a fan-assisted oven.

You can read about how much they cost and how to keep prices down in our guides – like this one here.

Also, if possible you could think about turning your thermostat down by one degree.

Just doing this could save you up to £100 a year on your energy bill.

If you want to keep an eye on how much you are spending on energy you can always install a smart meter.

This is usually provided by your energy supplier and keeps a real-time record of your energy consumption.
